Everyone knows an Uncle Lou. The fun one. The loud one. The one who swears his bread can fix a bad day. This brand is built on that energy — starting with a doodle of a smiling loaf and rising (pun intended) into a full-fledged bakery identity.
Our mission was to take that origin story and knead it into a brand that’s as authentic and approachable as Lou himself. One that balances craft with charm, quality with a not-so-serious attitude.

Our Approach / Solution
We started with Lou’s original sketch — a smiling loaf that radiated warmth. This became the cornerstone of the identity. To reflect his bold personality, we chose a vivid blue as the hero color — energetic, memorable, and inviting.
The logo features a winking loaf — a direct nod to Lou’s playful nature — paired with bold, rounded typography that echoes the softness of freshly baked bread. From packaging to merch to social presence, every element was designed to feel like Lou himself had a hand in it.
